Deficiency:Vegetation is on the roof and needs to be removed to prevent blockages in drain system.

Corrective Action:Remove vegetation off roof. Haul off and dispose.

06c Trim Trees(Emergency) - 12/20/2018
Quantity: 480 EA

Deficiency:Overhanging tree branches need to be trimmed back from the roof edge to help prevent them from damaging the coping metal, roof surface, and to prevent excess tree debris from building up on the roof.

Corrective Action:Tree limbs will be trimmed back. Debris from tree limb removal will be hauled off and disposed of.

Estimated Repair Cost: $670.00

Deficiency:The pipe block, or protection pad, is missing or damaged. These pads protect the roof from pipe on conduit movement.

Corrective Action:Repair damaged pipe blocks or replace with new blocks.

Deficiency:The curb flashing is deteriorated and should be repaired to extend the service life of the membrane

Corrective Action:Utilize mastic, acrylic, silicone coatings or gel to repair. A (3) course repair may be needed. If membrane is single ply then a patch may be welded

Deficiency:Solar Tube Skylights leaking. Cause of leak unknown. We will have to investigate why each of the skylights are leaking.

Corrective Action:Investigate and possibly repair tube skylight on a time and materials basis. 15" Dome and 24" Flange. These may need to be replaced. We will install weatherstripping as we think that may be the problem. If leaking persists then we will have to install new.

Roofing Contractor shall not be responsible for loss, damage or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, accidents, snow, fire, weather, vandalism, regulation, strikes, jurisdictional disputes, failure or delay of transportation, shortage of inability to obtain materials, equipment or labor. In the event of these occurrences, Roofing Contractor’s time for performance under this proposal shall be extended for a time sufficient to permit completion of the work.

Roofing Contractor’s commencement of roof repair work indicates only that the roof deck has visually inspected the surface of the roof deck for visible defects. Roofing Contractor is not responsible for the structural sufficiency, quality of construction, undulations, fastening or moisture content of the roof deck or other trades’ work or design and their effect on the roofing and roofing materials.

Roofing Contractor is not responsible for condensation, moisture migration from the building interior or other building components, location of size of roof drains, adequacy of drainage or ponding on the roof due to deck or structural conditions.

All work is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workman like manner according to standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written change orders and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 10 days.
